you for the effort, patience, and care you showed while helping us, the medical

careers students, gain a lot of insight into the medical field. Your presentation was both engaging, inspiring, and new. I appreciated how open and honest you were about your pathway to becoming a doctor and how you helped us set the same mindset that led to your success.

Your positivity and authenticity really stood out to me and made your visit more unforgettable. The way you explained your experience, journey, and interest motivated and truly brightened our day.

Your advice on active routine, consistency, positive mindset, and setting plans was very helpful. You shared some valuable dos and don’ts going into this path, which gave insight into both professional and personal growth. My name is Harshitha, and I am a student in the Novi High School Medical

Careers Exploration class. I am writing to you to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to speak with our class and share your experiences as an interventional radiologist and the founder of Miller Vein.

Your presentation was engaging and informative, especially as I begin to think about my time in college and creating a future career in the field of medicine. I found it fascinating when you discussed only applying to one university and how your academics have changed over the years. It was really motivating to hear that not having everything figured out immediately reassured my confidence, especially as a student getting ready to go to college. Your mini story on initially wanting to pursue a career as an OB/GYN and later finding interest in radiology stood out to me, highlighting how it’s fine to switch paths.

I also appreciated how interactive you were throughout the entire presentation. Your personal stories on life, education, and medical school interviews made it very engaging. Your belief in creating a positive lifestyle and staying open-minded has created a strong impression on me to take even the hard parts positively. Currently, I am interested in the field of OB/GNY, and your experiences have made my goal much more attainable.

“Dr. Miller’s presentation on interventional radiology and his journey to starting Miller Vein was really engaging and inspiring. His presentation was really interesting to hear about since he didn’t just go through what interventional radiology is but instead made us ask questions and gave answers that made us reflect.

One thing that really stood out to me was his point that your road to the future is not set in stone. He initially chose radiology due to its popularity but came to develop a passion for it since he enjoyed the procedures involved.

His focus on personal growth over just academics was really eye opening. His emphasized habits like reading, eating well, and building a positive mindset to become a better leader and professional.

Hearing about his experiences with medical school interviews, community engagement and more really showed that it’s fine to not have everything figured out right now. His talk was really inspiring and shows that success comes from continuous growth, not just following a fixed path.
