Dr. Paquette brings exceptional clinical expertise, a deeply compassionate approach, and an unwavering commitment to helping patients heal and return to comfortable, active lives. She is among a remarkably small group of clinicians worldwide, being one of only 610 individuals globally to hold this advanced level of wound care board certification.

Hi, my name is Dr. Madeline Paquette. I’m Miller Vein’s new wound care specialist. I am board-certified as a family nurse practitioner, as well as a wound care specialist.

What Is Your Educational Background?

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with my BSN in 2017. And then I started my doctor of nursing practice program at the University of Michigan in 2018, and I graduated in 2021. I was board-certified in wound care in February of 2023.

What Is Your Favorite Quote?

My favorite quote is: “Caring creates possibility”. Because when you really care for your patients absolutely anything is possible and most anything can be done.

Wound care really called to me because you can help patients regain their quality of life. And it’s a situation where people are having pain or just living with an open wound and they’re miserable and uncomfortable.

And it’s such an honor and wonderful experience to be able to help them through that and heal them.
