October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: It’s all about informing, empowering, and celebrating women.
So, what does Breast Cancer Awareness mean specifically at Miller Vein?
Don’t wait for symptoms to worsen — modern care is quicker than most people expect; start with all vein treatments we offer.
As of 2025, breast and skin cancers are the most common cancer found in women. Approximately 30% of women will be diagnosed each year. Though it typically affects middle-aged and older women, it can impact younger women, too (American Cancer Society).
You can read more about common vein conditions in our condition guide.
Breast Cancer and Miller Vein
At Miller Vein, breast cancer does not go undiscussed. Take it from Caitlyn, one of our expert VeinErase® nurses.
Her experiences with breast cancer made her an advocate both inside and outside the clinics. She welcomes the breast cancer discussion with Miller Vein patients and emphasizes the importance of getting mammograms on time.
Breast Cancer Recognition
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we would like to honor those who have dealt with this disease. Each person affected is a fighter, and their battle should be recognized.
Sure, October is the season for scares, but getting your mammogram on time isn’t one of them. Remember to schedule your mammogram, support those affected, and wear pink.
