We hear a lot of buzz about vascular nurses, especially here at Miller Vein. But do you actually know what vascular nurses do?
Do you know the difference between our medical and cosmetic nurses?
Miller Vein has two types of nurses: medical and cosmetic VeinErase® nurses. While the two are similar, they have completely different roles in the clinics.
The medical nurses focus on general patient care, regardless of if the treatment is medical or cosmetic. Some of their responsibilities include (but are not limited to) monitoring patients before, after, and during a procedure; operating medical equipment; and collaborating with other medical staff.
The VeinErase® nurses are all about spider vein treatment.
They utilize Miller Vein’s signature method, VeinErase®, using sclerotherapy to treat spider veins. They also treat spider veins on the face with VeinGogh™, an FDA-approved treatment that uses microburst technology.
In addition to treating patients, the nurses must understand patient care and handle medical equipment.
At Miller Vein, both medical and VeinErase® nurses have the same goal: treat patients effectively and with care.
If you’re interested in receiving treatment from one of our medical or VeinErase® nurses, schedule a consultation now at Miller Vein.
